ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยของพนักงานบริษัทผู้รับเหมาในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมแห่งหนึ่ง
Factors affecting safety behavior of employees of sub-contractors of a chemical industry
การศึกษาเรื่องนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย และปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ ลักษณะส่วนบุคคล การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสาร ความรู้ความเข้าใจ และทัศนคติต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยที่คาดว่าจะมีผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย โดยมีกลุ่มประชากรในการศึกษา คือ พนักงานบริษัทผู้รับเหมาประจำในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมแห่งหนึ่ง เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการใช้แบบสอบถามกับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 122 คน และวิเคราะห์ผลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และ F-Test ผลการศึกษา พบว่า พนักงานส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย มีอายุ 41 ปีขึ้นไป มีระดับการศึกษามัธยมต้นและมีอายุงานไม่เกิน 2 ปี โดยพนักงานส่วนใหญ่ได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยมาก มีระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยดี และมีทัศนคติที่ดีเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย ในส่วนของระดับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยของพนักงาน พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่มีพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในระดับสูง ผลการศึกษาปัจจัยต่าง ๆ พบว่า ปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคลด้านเพศ ระดับการศึกษา และอายุงาน ปัจจัยการได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย และระดับทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยไม่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย ส่วนคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลด้านอายุ ปัจจัยความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงาน มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ข้อเสนอแนะที่สำคัญ คือ การสื่อสารข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยจากหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยและสิ่งแวดล้อมให้พนักงานทราบอย่างต่อเนื่อง และควรมีการเน้นย้ำ ทำความเข้าใจกับพนักงานในเรื่องหน้าที่ของการส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยว่าเป็นหน้าที่ของพนักงานทุกคน และการทำความเข้าใจถึงความสำคัญของการสอบสวนอุบัติเหตุ รวมทั้งควรเพิ่มบทบาทในการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยของผู้รับเหมา
This research was aimed to study the safety behavior and relevant factors, including personal factors, information receiving, knowledge and attitudes. The samples are 122 employees who work in a permanent sub-contractor of a chemical industry. Questionnaires were used for data collection and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and F-Test. The results indicated that the majority of employees were 41 years old and over with working experience of not more than 2 years. Most of the employees were male and finished junior high school. They had very good information receiving and knowledge about behavior based safety. Most of them also had positive attitude towards safety behavior and their safety behavior was at high level. The analysis of related factors indicated that personal factors such as gender, education level and work experience as well as information receiving about behavior based safety and attitudes towards behavior based safety did not affect safety behavior of the employees. On the other hand, age, knowledge about behavior based safety affected the safety behavior at of 0.05. The recommendations from the research are continuously disseminate the information about behavior based safety to all employees, increase the understanding about duty of promoting safety behavior that it is everyone’s responsibility, make understanding that accident investigation is not a blame or punishment and should increase the role of the contractor in safety promotion activities.
