Adaptation and the impact of climate change and perception of natural disaster preparedness among durian farmers in the area of Phato sub-district, Phato district Chumphon Province
การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศเป็นปัญหาสำคัญที่กำลังส่งผลกระทบไปทั่วโลกโดยความรุนแรงขึ้นอยู่กับสภาพทางภูมิศาสตร์ของแต่ละประเทศโดยเฉพาะภาคการเกษตรจะส่งผลกระทบโดยตรง โดยภาคการเกษตรนับว่ามีความสำคัญต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของประเทศไทยอย่างมาก ครอบคลุมถึง 6.4 ล้านครัวเรือน และที่ดินทำการเกษตรครอบคลุมถึงร้อยละ 40 ของพื้นที่ทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ศึกษาความรู้ความเข้าใจและความพร้อมในการปรับตัวและผลกระทบต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ตลอดจนการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงภัยพิบัติและการเตรียมความพร้อมรับมือภัยพิบัติของเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกทุเรียน ในพื้นที่ ตำบลพะโต๊ะ อำเภอพะโต๊ะ จังหวัดชุมพร จำนวน 138 ราย โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเกษตรกรมีความเข้าใจต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ จำนวน 103 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 74.64 ด้านการปรับตัวต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (x̅ = 4.00, S.D. = 1.03) ด้านการได้รับผลกระทบต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (x̅ = 4.21, S.D. = 1.03) ด้านการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงภัยพิบัติและการเตรียมความพร้อมรับมือภัยพิบัติ พบว่า เกษตรกรมีการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงภัยพิบัติและการเตรียมความพร้อมรับมือภัยพิบัติ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 85.12 ดังนั้นเพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมให้เกษตรกรมีการปรับตัวจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องด้านการส่งเสริมการเกษตร ควรมุ่งให้ความรู้และข้อมูลแก่เกษตรกรในเรื่องของแนวทางการปรับตัวและการเตรียมความพร้อมรับมือภัยพิบัติ เพื่อเป็นการป้องกันการเกิดผลกระทบในอนาคต
Climate change is a major problem that is affecting the world. The severity depends on the geography of each country, especially the agricultural sector will directly affect. The agricultural sector is very important to the economy and society of Thailand, covering 6.4 million households. and agricultural land covers 40% of the country's area. This research aims to study adaptation and impacts of climate change. and perception of natural disaster preparedness among 138 durian farmers in Phato sub-district, Phato district, Chumphon province by using a questionnaire. The results of the study revealed that 103 farmers had an understanding of climate change, representing 74.6% of climate change adaptation. Overall, it was at a high level (x̅ = 4.00, S.D. = 24). Regarding disaster risk perception and disaster preparedness, it was found that farmers had awareness of disaster risk and disaster preparedness. accounted for 85.12%.
