งานศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแหล่งกำเนิดปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือกระจกของบริษัทอีอาร์เอ็ม-สยาม จำกัด ตลอดจนวิเคราะห์หาแนวทางในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก ซึ่งการประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ขององค์กร (Carbon Footprint for Organization: CFO หรือ Corporate Carbon Footprint: CCF) เป็นวิธีการประเภทหนึ่งในการแสดงข้อมูลปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่ปล่อยจากการดำเนินงานขององค์กร อันจะนำไปสู่การกำหนดแนวทางการบริหารจัดการเพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยแนวทางการประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์องค์กร ขององค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) ได้แบ่งกิจกรรมออกเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ กิจกรรมที่มีการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกทางตรง ทางอ้อม และอื่น ๆ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บริษัทอีอาร์เอ็ม-สยาม จำกัด มีการปล่อยเรือนกระจกทั้งสิ้น 55.41 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่าต่อปี โดยมีสัดส่วน ปริมาณการใช้ไฟฟ้า ร้อยละ 0.676, การใช้ทรัพยากรน้ำ อุปกรณ์สำนักงาน 0.256 และ กิจกรรมการเผาไหม้และการซ้อมดับเพลิงร้อยละ 0.65 ตามลำดับ ทั้งนี้ทางผู้ศึกษาได้เสนอแนวทางการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกขององค์กร โดยเน้นด้านการบริการจัดการทรัพยากรภายในองค์กรเป็นหลัก ประกอบกับการขอความร่วมมือจากคู่ค้าและพนักงานภายในองค์กรในการลดหรือเว้นกิจกรรมส่งผลต่อการเพิ่มขึ้นของปริมาณก๊าซเรือกระจกขององค์กร
The purpose of this study was to determine the amount and source of greenhouse gas emissions of ERM-Siam. The Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO or Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF)) is a method of showing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions from an organization's operations. This will lead to the formulation of management guidelines for effective reduction. Carbon footprint assessment guidelines of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) activities are divided into 3 types: Direct activity, Indirect and others. The results shown that the amount of greenhouse gas emissions of ERM-Siam Co., Ltd. is 55.41 ton CO2e per year in total. Proportionally, 3 types of activities come to 67.6 percent in the electrical energy, 25.6 percent of Office equipment, and 6.5 percent of fuel consumption respectively. The study has proposed a way to reduce the organization's greenhouse gas emissions with a focus on resource management services within the organization. In addition to requesting cooperation from partners and employees within the organization to reduce or abstain from activities that may resulting in an increase in the gas supply of the organization.
